Sales Representative – General Division
 Western MA

 

Atlantic Beverage Distributors is looking for a full-time Sales Representative to join it’s growing operation. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Calling on off and on-premise accounts to give successful presentations for decision-making buyers that result in the sales of specialty food and nonalcoholic beverages. 


  • Meeting or exceeding pre-determined service expectations while effectively selling the portfolio and fulfilling designated account run management objectives. 

  • Planning and executing a daily schedule of sales calls via a pre-determined account run 

  • Meeting with each account in the designated account run on a regular basis 

  • Working with supplier representatives and managers in the field to promote sales in territory 

  • Improving the marketability of products through shelf management, display position and price point management 

  • Effectively planning on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis in relation to achieving applicable sales goals 

  • Following through on issues deemed important to management, customers, and suppliers 
     

Expectations: 

  • Be professional, friendly, courteous, enthusiastic and respectful to clients, customers and vendors 

  • Maintain standards set by company trackers  

  • Participate with all team initiatives 

  • Maintain sales numbers month over month 

  • Follow all A/R procedures 

  • Respond within 24 hours to all supplier communications, exceptions if you are on vacation or out sick 

  • Follow company dress code 

  • Knowledge of the PHO; meaning, products and specifically top ten beers 

  • Punctuality to all sales meetings, customer meetings, vendor visits

Merchandiser – Non Alcoholic Division
 Metrowest

 

Atlantic Beverage Distributors is looking for a full-time Merchandiser to join it’s growing operation.

Responsibilities:

  • To build a professional rapport with accounts 

  • Build a rapport with sales reps/managers in territory assigned 

  • Pack out new orders when they first arrive 

  • Check code dates on product on the shelf and notify salesperson/manager of any out of code or close to code product 

  • Set up new displays for account and make suggestions on floor stacks 

  • Rotate beer displays to ensure freshness 

  • Utilize POS properly to bring visibility of ABD products 

  • Get good shelf/floor placements for ABD brands 

  • Perform tastings and brand events within off premise stores

Expectations:

  • A toolbox of supplies needed for merchandising; box cutter, tape, scissors, starbursts 

  • Each merchandiser is required to take photographs of any displays/resets or other projects they have worked on for the company and submit them to the lead merchandiser each month. Displays should always be properly priced and have appropriate POS (where applicable).
